The venue boasts over 90 acres of unique grounds and gardens. We offer three unique event spaces, all while maintaining a personal connection with each couple/client.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and professional individuals to join the team at Saint Clements Castle & Marina -- one of Connecticut's premier wedding and event venues!

General Overview of the position

The Wedding Sales Coordinator position is responsible for selling and detailing wedding events and achieving or exceeding wedding sales goals while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction. This wedding sales coordinator reports to the Director of Sales and works in unity with the sales and marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Effective field sales leads/calls/inquiries as given with a professional and timely response.
  • Connect and follow-up with clients in a timely manner.
  • Prepare wedding contracts utilizing Caterease software.
  • Plan and coordinate details of booked events; create and distribute client function order forms.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records and files for all events.
  • Schedules prospective couples for tours of the estate.
  • Ability to address all venue, wedding, or ceremony questions.
  • Conduct all sales-related interactions with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Review and report on all sales efforts, activity, and results to the director of sales.
  • Attending local and regional trade shows as required to promote the venue.
  • Availability to work weekends with occasional evening for prospective tours.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality, Event Management, Event Sales, Hospitality sales or equivalent experience in the hospitality industry.
  • 1-3 years of Wedding Sales experience and knowledge of events and back of the house operations.
  • Strong presentation skills to represent the venue professionally and successfully.
  • 8-hour shift.
  • Weekend availability.

Work Location: In person

Salary to commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
